Nathan Halbur

Bass-baritone and composer Nathan Halbur's eclectic career highlights include singing with Esperanza Spalding in the world premiere of Wayne Shorter’s …(Iphigenia); leading experiments in choral improvisation with Nightingale Vocal Ensemble; and embodying Dr. Seuss’s Grinch for the Boston Pops. He's a regular singer with the Handel and Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Emmanuel Music, and Ensemble Altera. His multidisciplinary vocal band DREAMGLOW synthesizes myriad genres and art forms. He curates a monthly series of Exploratory Choral Meditations in Boston, probing the intersections of diverse art, sonic experimentation, and social justice. He also enjoys rollerskating.
