Robbie Jacobs
Robbie Jacobs is the Executive Director of Children's Chorus of Washington (CCW), where he works to bring CCW's high quality choral education to any young person in Washington who wants it, irrespective of the ability to pay. Hailing from the UK, Robbie studied Music at King's College, Cambridge, where he was the Senior Choral Scholar under Stephen Cleobury, and holds a Master's in Choral Conducting from the Royal Academy of Music. Prior to moving to the US to take a role with Boston Children's Chorus, he sang with Tenebrae, The Sixteen, and The Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula at the Tower of London. As a conductor he has held positions as Artistic Director of Reverie Choir, the Acting Artistic Director of the London Youth Choir, and inaugural Conducting Scholar for Genesis Sixteen under Harry Christophers and Eamonn Dougan. Robbie has been a proud member of Skylark Vocal Ensemble since 2017.
