Fiona Gillespie

Fiona is a Classical and folk singer, instrumentalist, and songwriter. She directs, performs and records with the early music/Celtic band The Chivalrous Crickets and Scottish historical ensemble Makaris. She directs the nonprofit Hearthsong Folk Arts, which curates gatherings that combine seasonal folk-heritage music, dance, craft and literature with modern mindfulness practices. Specializing in the meeting of folk and Baroque music, Fiona joins The Baroque Orchestra of Colorado, Ruckus Early Music Band, Apollo’s Fire, Fire and Grace, Musica Sierra and Elm City Consort this season as a guest artist, co-creator, and composer.
