Fiona Gillespie

Soprano Fiona Gillespie sings with professional chamber ensembles, tours with her Celtic folk band, The Chivalrous Crickets, and produces recordings and events with her ensemble Makaris, [commercial releases: Wisps in the Dell (2019); Tam Lin (2021); The Galant David Rizzio (2022); The Gentle Shepherd (2025)]. With a specialization in Celtic/Classical "crossover" performance, Fiona appears as a collaborator and soloist with Apollo’s Fire Baroque Orchestra, The Baroque Orchestra of Colorado, Elm City Consort, Ruckus Early Music Band, and Tiny Glass Tavern. She is a cold swimmer and enjoys ice plunges in her outdoor tub or any accessible natural bodies of water.
